Performance Practice

Coming up in October is the popular Isaac Royal Equestrian Theater. This performance showcases students and horses in quadrilles and routines that utilize the daily dressage training and instruction at Isaac Royal Farm. I have been involved in this theater for 15 years and have grown as a performer every year. This year will be the first time I have ridden Douwe, my 9 year old Friesian gelding, in the show. I am confident that he will enjoy the experience but you never know until you do it. Performing for a live audience is very electric and our indoor arena is small, only big enough for Training level tests. I am not in quite as many routines this year because I just got married but Douwe will be debuting in Musketeers, Zorro, and King Arthur. I will also be riding Royal Victress in a few numbers and doing some dance routines. Dress rehearsal is next Saturday so we are rushing to pull all our costumes and routines together. Here is a video clip from a previous performance.  Sandra & Max ~ King Arthur [nggallery id=7]
