"He dances well to whom Fortune pipes." -Italian proverb.
This performance showcases Spanish dancers, each on their own "island" platforms, and black, Spanish horses performing between them. The dancers boast fluorescent fans and tasseled scarves and perform intricate dance moves, their heals clicking against the wooden platforms, with precision and rhythm, reflecting the precision and rhythm used in horse riding.
At 5 minutes in, the horses begin performing more advanced movements- rearing, and half-passing in a "thread the needle" formation. At 7 minutes, one impressively athletic horse performs an incredible rear as the dancers spin dramatically. Enjoy!
