Beautiful Andalusian Performs with Ballerinas - 2010 World Equestrian Games

"Noble Andalusians
bred to be a partner
through centuries of care
generous hearts and brilliant minds
make a lovely dancing pair."

This video is from the opening ceremonies of the 2010 World Equestrian Games.  The rider, Mario Contreras, is one of the head trainers for Medieval Times and his horse has an amazing presence. The video begins with an expressive Spanish walk with the dancer and horse in perfect time. The dancers are beautiful and I like how the video goes back and forth between close-ups and full view, letting you see the intricate details as well as the choreography of the group as a whole. Check out the dramatic passage at 3:15 and the reverse Spanish walk at 3:40!  It is one of my dreams to perform in a similar venue with dramatic lighting and so much space! I loved their performance and I know you will enjoy it!
